Complete randomness....

But some of the best memories ever.

And a prayer request. Please keep my friend Bridget in your prayers. Her dad is sick, having some pretty rough kidney troubles. Pray boldly for answers and the healing of his infections.

These are in no particular order but here's what we have been up to. The weather has been gorgeous and we have done nothing but live outside.







Dinner at Lubbock's newest fine dining restaurant West Table. So good!!!!!


One really exciting happening around here is our girls slept until 7:55 AM Sunday morning!!!!


Holy Mary, mother of Jesus, what have you done with my children!?!? And Saturday they slept until like 7:15. Yesterday, I had to wake Cam up for school at 7:25. And they slept until 7:00 today. Praise Jesus!!!!

I mean... I feel like I will for sure win SOMETHING this weekend in Vegas due to these epic happenings, right?!?!?

Bedtime ritual

TESS goes to bed at 7 and there's not much to her bedtime except a bottle and maybe a book but Cam's is quite an ordeal. Takes 30 minutes but I wouldn't have it any other way. Sometimes I do it, sometimes daddy does it. But when he does it. there's nothing sweeter than watching this on the monitor. Melt me.

Dear.....Hand Foot Mouth

You are the absolute worst!!! Both of my girls have you and I am not happy about it!!! TESS has fever last Friday so I took her to the doc and her strep and flu came back negative, thankfully! But her throat was AWFUL and covered in puss pockets and blisters. Dr. Dalton went ahead and prescribed Amoxicillin just bc she thought we caught it too early. Well, all weekend long, my sweet angel baby T was a fuss bucket. All.Weekend.Long. Which is completely abnormal for her. She is almost always happy. Unless she's tired or hungry, the girl is an angel. But, we just thought it was her throat hurting so we just kept flip flopping Tylenol and Motrin every three hours.

Throughout the weekend, TESS starts developing this rash all over her diaper area, hands, legs, and mouth. We're thinking she's allergic to amoxicillin like her sis, but just keep on truckin' until Monday when I can call the doc back. We went for lots of drives over the weekend, just bc that was all that kept her happy. Poor little thing!!!






























See that awful blister on her left thumb? That's the thumb she sucks. And there are blisters all in her mouth. This is just gross!!!!!!!




Well... C woke up with 100.9 fever yesterday, complaining her throat hurt.

Perfect. She has strep too. So, off to the Doc we go and her strep test came back negative!! What the?!?!?

Well..... It's hand foot mouth. Dr. Dalton called that immediately. Cam has no signs of it on her skin but her throat is atrocious!!! Blisters everywhere!!! She's in excruciating pain too, bless her.

And, the kicker is: there's no cure for this. It's a virus. All you can do is treat the pain with Motrin and Tylenol every three hours.

All the while, mommy has this new job. And must go to work. Luckily my MIL was here for doctors appointments yesterday so she helped and then Tess's daycare teacher totally came over to keep them from 2:45-5! How nice is that?!?! She offered and everything. What a God send!!! She has already been exposed to it so I wanted my MIL to have as little contact with them as possible, just bc adults can get this too. And with her knee and all, I just don't want to risk it.

Here it is, 7 AM, on Tuesday morning and both of these sickly little girls are still sleeping. :(. This breaks my heart!!!! Can NEVER sleeps this late.

My MIL is coming BACK to LBB today to help some more, Brian moved some patients around, and Shirley is coming back again from 245-5. Teamwork at its finest people. And I'm so appreciative I could burst!!! Then, my mom is coming Wednesday. All so I can go to work. I have no words for how thankful I am........

OH!!!!! And during all this sickness, one of Tess's TOP teeth broke through. Just what she was wanting I'm sure.

HFM you can kiss my #*^!!! Please go away. When my girls hurt, I hurt. :(

11 months!!!!!!!

This angel baby completes me in so many ways, I can't even begin to describe it!! She is the sweetest, happiest little thing ever!!!!! Her mommy separation anxiety could improve just a smidge but hey--I'll take it!! Cam didn't like me at this age, she was totally a daddy's girl, so it's nice to be missed ;). There is one other woman in Tess's life I can 100%, hands down, say ranks right up there with me, without birthing her obviously, and that's Ms. Shirley. Her teacher at Trinity. If I'm holding her, she goes to no one. Except this woman. And that makes me smile bigger than Dallas. There's nothing more comforting than dropping your baby off at a place every morning where your child actually wants to be besides with their mommy. It's indescribable. And such a blessing of which I'll forever be thankful. We love you Ms Shirley, thanks for loving our baby like your own.

We've had SNOW and ICE mageddon around here this past week so here's been our life in pictures

How we found sweet Tess at the nursery today. She played hard. Then crashed hard. With dolly, of course.






I've always seen and heard of moms talking about their kids holding hands in the backseat and well... This mommy got to experience that today on our way home from church and there's absolutely nothing better.

West Table and Science Spectrum

Tuesday night we joined Ronnie and Elaine at the West Table downtown for a special dinner and wine tasting prepared by Kim McPherson, the owner of McPherson cellars. We are wine club members so we thought we should give it a try and it did NOT disappoint. Oh my goodness it was delicious!!! And the wine was perfect. Here's the menu.




This restaurant makes you feel like you walked into a Big D restaurant. It's lovely and very nicely done!! We had a great time!!




That man behind Elaine is her partner at their Accounting/Financial Planning firm.

A quick shout out to my sis though. Debra was set to babysit but came down with the flu and my sis totally pulled through for us!!!! They had lots going on at their house but Justin shuffled their kids while she came and kept ours. Thanks sooooo much sissy!!!!! We prepaid for this dinner several months ago so we were happy we got to go!

Can went on her first field trip yesterday with her school and their went to science spectrum. One of the moms who went sent me these darling pics. I'd say they had a blast!!!!
