Cameron is 4!!! Here she is on her actual birthday opening gifts from Melly, Uncle J, London, and Ian and us. She also started dance/ballet last week on her birthday so she had a huge day!!! I took cupcakes up to her school and her class sang. She had a wonderful birthday!!!

Cameron had her very first party this year where friends outside of close family were invited. We had about 30 people come (6 from her class at school came) and it was complete perfection. Pastries and princesses in the park. Cameron had a ball, thanks to everyone who came and celebrated her!!!

Katie. Her all-time BFF. We sure miss her now that she's in pre-K.

Sweet Ellis

Cameron and Zeth have the sweetest friendship I've ever seen. They play prince and princess all the time and totally take care of one another. I was over taking photos of someone else on the playground and overheard Zeth telling Cam, "I'm right here waiting for you, Cameron."

I mean..... I can't even....

Icing first. Atta girl Katie!! ;)

Jentri and Tess are about 2 weeks apart. Loving that headband sweet girl!!

Well done Team Keating, well done.

Such a fun birthday for our girl. We love ever inch of you Cameron and enjoy watching you grow.

Cheers,
Lin

Lake Alan Henry

Well..... Team Cooper and Team Herring just started something really great last weekend and it has a super clever and unique name. Ready for it??? ..... ?????

The Herring-Cooper Adventures. Yep! That would be it! And we already love it!

We decided to load up our kids and do something 'different' over the holiday weekend and we ended up out at the Lake Alan Henry. Without life jackets. Or a boat. Yea, not so smart when you're going to THE LAKE!! But, we will learn with each adventure and that was it this time. And although the life jackets will be in attendance next time, the boat may have to wait. But, Joey and B are scheming a plan to make this happen. Aren't ya boys?!?!?! ;)

The kids had an absolute blast and all we had was a covered picnic table, a fire pit, a wireless speaker, food, drinks, BB Gun, and ice down our pants. We weren't even on the Lake but the big kids didn't had their suits on just for sport. Next time we will hit the lake. WITH our life jackets!

Such fun, Team Cooper. Here's to many more 'Adventures!!' And, big Thanks for getting there early and getting us a spot!! That lake was C-R-A-Z-Y!!!! I swear, the line to get your boat out of the water was backed up all the way to LBB!!!!

Oh! Cannot forget smores. We had those too!!!

Sisters

After writing my last post, I couldn't help but write about these two sweet sisters I have at my own house.....

Over the last couple weeks, a lot of nights, I find myself alone in the kitchen after the girls get home from school. It's because they're doing this.

Don't get me wrong, they have their fair share of fights but for the most part they adore one another.

And it melts me.

My Sissy

I've been procrastinating writing this post because I keep thinking she's going to appear on my doorstep. But, it's been 12 days and I've yet to hear the doorbell.

Sissy. I miss you. Oh so much. Every minute of every day. You're my 'person' and just knowing my 'person' is 1400 miles away makes me sad.

But, I know you guys decided to make this move to Fredericksburg, VA as a family and, although Mom, Dad, and I are family, your husband and kiddos matter most. And for that, I'm proud of you.

I sent you this because I never ever want you to forget where you came from and where your roots are. We will be here, always, should things change.

We all had dinner as a family one last time and it was ugly. But thankful we were able to do that.

And here's to Dance Party 7417 94th St. Lubbock TX 79424 on your last night here. Memories we will cherish forever. So glad Lou and Deb were a part of it. And Yes--my dancing is atrocious but I didn't care. I was with my Ian and London and couldn't care less about anything else. My gosh I miss those kiddos.
