Potty Training??

No, she just thinks its fun to say potty &/or poo poo, lead us to the bathroom, get her seat out of the cabinet, sit there, and do this. She makes me laugh. ;)




And I couldn't help but snap a pic of this sight. The girl loves salsa. We were at Mi Cocina with the Hales Friday night and she ate more than any of us! She is her daddy's child.




Afterwards, we decided to head back over to Mike and Lindsay's for a lil trivial pursuit and team Herring won! I answered the winning question and you would have thought I'd won the lottery!!! Love our trivial pursuit nights.

Grammy and Pop visit

Cam and I flew to Lubbock last weekend to visit Grammy and Pop and had a fun fun time.

Her Easter dress: she wore it to church since we won't be in Plainview for Easter.



This dress was actually London's. You can't tell but it has kites up on the smocked part. I just love smock dresses. There's nothing sweeter...


One of the ugliest dust storms I've ever seen. Only lasted about 30 minutes but looked awful! Here it is rolling in. We thought we were going to get lucky with some rain early on in the day but what we thought were storm clouds was DIRT! Gross!





Right before we were blow away! Ha! Kidding but close. We ran inside immediately after this

My mom

Ok so she had surgery on her foot mid-January and although the recovery has been VERY long, she's done extremely well and has not been in any pain. She's now able to wear a boot and walk but can't drive much. Maybe to the store and back but that's it. I have to give a HUGE thank you to all her friends, my sis, and my dad for shuffling her around everywhere!!! Y'all are so appreciated! I've hated not being able to help :(. She had a Dr appt this past Tuesday and she took a pic of the X-ray with her phone. Those are screws in her foot!!! LOTS of them!!! I don't really know exactly what they did but it looks complicated! Ha! Notice the needle in the ball of her foot... Yea mom has no idea how or when that got in there! My grandmother never knew either! It's positioned perfectly in there and causing no problems so the Dr just left it alone. Crazy!!!





And here she is behind the wheel for the first time after a very long 3 months!!! So proud of you mommy and can't wait to see you in 3 short hours! Cam and I are flying out at 8 this morning and staying through Monday night. Mom has not seen Cameron since Christmas!!!

This sweet 18 month old baby weighs 26.6 lbs (88%) & is 33 inches tall (83%). Dr. McGonnell said she looks great and is very smart. ;)

Lubbock

This past weekend I was in Lubbock and finally got to see my mom after 3 long months!!! She had foot surgery and has been pretty much out of commission for the last 2 months. So good seeing her! I also got to see these sweet faces!

And last night Uncle T and Aunt Kelly came to see us on their spring break! K gave Trent Alabama Shakes tix to him for his bday and the concert is here in Dallas! They are here through Wednesday!!! Cam loves her 'Tent' and 'Eyye'. ;)

Lindsay Cooper Catch-Up, party bus, and size 3T oh my!!!!

My long-life and dear friend, Lindsay, was in Dallas for a few days last week for work and she was kind enough to stay away from her precious family one more night to come see us. Brian made us beef tenderloin on the green egg and we just visited for
several hours. Brian too! He 'loves him some Lou Lou.' ;) Miss you so much, Lou...Thanks for coming to see us! Enjoyed it!!!
Saturday night was so incredibly fun, I can’t even begin to tell you!!!!! Our friend, Chad Bailey, turned 40 over the weekend and his wife, Donna threw one hell of a party! She rented this party bus and this was no ordinary party bus. This party bus was the most tricked out party bus I’ve ever seen! Seriously! It was the size of those smaller DART busses and was decked out to the 9’s with all this fancy lighting, plush leather seats, TV's, amazing speakers... It was fantastic!!!!! Donna worked very hard and created this phenomenal ipod play list for the bus, got loads of beer and wine, and allowed us to celebrate her husband's birthday in style! We started at The Belmont Hotel Bar, then to The Slip In to dance which was A BLAST, (I haven't been there in probably 7 years!!!) then we finished at Addison Pointe for a little Karaoke. Donna called ahead and set up this arrangement where they would let 3 people from our party jump to the front of the line and sing, which was so very nice. This is THE PLACE to go to sing karaoke so you can imagine the long line we skipped. They bumped us up to the front of the line and got us right in. Chad, of course, put on a great show with his famous 'Dead or Alive' and I sang 'Bobby McGee'. It was so fun and Donna totally pulled this off without a hitch!!! Chad knew Donna was planning something and, the day of, Donna told him people were coming over, but little did he know they would all arrive in a party bus.
Everyone met at my
house and we drove around to pick him up. He about died!!!! There were like 25 of us and everyone sat comfortably. Saturday was probably one of the most fun nights of my life. Not even kidding. As always, thanks for a great night Chad and Donna and Happy 40!!! Here's to many more and taking care of that knee!!! ;) I only took 1 photo Saturday night and it was of this MASSIVE Fosters. Delicious but headache worthy!!! :(. Kayla took a lot more so ill post those once I
get em!




Last but certainly not least: I had to buy size 3T Pj's for my daughter!! What the what?!!!?!?! My baby is growing up waaaaay too fast!!!!!!!
