Let me just tell you that my child caused quite the scene today. Remember the Macy's episode? Yep, same kindof deal but in front of a 1000 times more people.
Now, I don't have this on video b/c I was solo (B is in Dallas for an Implant CE Course) but would probably pay $1000 for a copy if I could get my hands on one. This was THAT good people.
Let me start you from the beginning:
All the kids are sitting in the section to the right of the parents in this massive sanctuary and I spot Cameron among all the other little munchkins. She's being an absolute angel. I contemplate going over there to take her picture and give her a big kiss but talk myself out of it. I didn't wanna jinx this awesome behavior. She is, and continues, sitting there perfectly while all the groups before her class perform. Well, it's time for her class and up they go. All in this most precious little single file line. Like tiny ducklings. *Note little miss in the black and white polka dotted snowman outfit.
Here's a blown up pic....
She was front row. Smiled, sang, danced, performed the motions, ..she did all of it. Proud mommy for sure. Everyone was talking about the little girl in the snowman outfit and how darling she was. Well, then......
She saw me. Oh.My.Lord. She LOST it. Had to be taken off stage and everything. Yep. And came straight for me. I was so embarrassed yet sad for her, all at the same time. There were like 24,901 people there. Parking was a joke. It was bad. She sat with me for a bit then I convinced her to go back up there and sit with her friends for the duration of the program but that translated into her sitting in her all-time-favorite teachers' lap, Michelle, for the rest of the time. Good times
Sitting with Michelle
Tis the season to spread some tears. Or cheer. Whichever you prefer. ;-)
Cheers,
Lindley
