27 weeks!

Well, today marks 27 weeks!!!! Below was just taken and the one of me in the white T shirt was when I was 27 wks with Cam. My 'belly' itself is definitely bigger with Tess than with Cam!

Thought it would be fun to look back and read my stats of when I was prego with Cam and compare them to this pregnancy with Tess.

How far along: 27 weeks

Size of baby: Head of cauliflower: 16 in., 2.5 lbs

Total Weight Gain/Loss: Gained 17.5 lbs with Cam. I've gained 22 with Tess

Movement: Little Red is VERY active - especially after I eat. It likes food like it's parents!

Same with Tess. I'm super hungry all the time and Tess moves a LOT!!!!! Especially after I eat.

Sleep: I'm still sleeping really good! This body pillow is a God send!

I'm actually not using a body pillow this pregnancy. Just a regular pillow between my legs to help my back.

What I miss: my memory, my mary&guido jeans, being able to walk up a flight of stairs without sounding like I just ran a marathon, wine, my heels, iced tea, being able to paint my toes comfortably, sushi, and lime Diet Dr. Peppers from Sonic.

I miss every single one of these things except the sushi. The thought of sushi makes me wanna gag. After I had Cam, my desire to eat seafood went out the window and I still haven't gotten that desire/want back. My husband is sad bc he loves sushi, seafood, all of it! Sorry babe. :(

Cravings: These are still the same as last week with the exception of fruit. I LOVE me some fruit right now! Nectarines especially. Jimmy Dean griddle cakes. Yes, I know. They sound like such the 'pregnant-lady-food', and they totally are, but I am loving them for breakfast in the mornings. They are like McDonalds' McGriddles, except with fewer calories. Yep, a whole whopping 70 calories fewer. And I am sooooo letting that justify my thinking these are 'healthy' for me knowing they are better than hitting the drive-thru each morning. I am still all about sweet things so the maple syrup pancakes satisfy that craving and then having it paired w/ the salty sausage just makes for the perfect combo. Kindof like my PB&J-sandwiches-with-potato-chips-inside crush. I have serious issues, I know. I am still loving hot dogs, Honey Graham Oh's cereal, & again, anything sweet!

This is so funny to me bc the ONLY things that matches with me on this pregnancy is hot dogs. I love me some got dogs! I also love kolaches for breakfast, which I also loved while prego with Cam. But the rest of that stuff makes me wanna throw up! Hahah!! I'm eating mainly cereal and/or english muffins/bagels for breakfast, a ham or turkey sandwich for lunch with Brian when he comes home, and our dinners are pretty normal. Nothing out of the ordinary. I have bought some pretty random things lately that I would never buy otherwise but as for right now, they are the most delicious things on this planet!!!

1.). Nutty Bars
2.). Fruity pebbles but sugar cookie flavor
3.). Strawberry ice cream
4.) frozen sausage rolls from Costco

???? What the heck????? I never eat fruity pebbles or strawberry ice cream!?!?! I ate nutty bars when I was 7 and the frozen sausage rolls suck, if you wanna know the truth, but they satisfy my craving, which is all that matters. Haha!

Symptoms: I am hungry ALL THE TIME and having heart burn. Tums are my new best friend.

Ditto on the above with Tess and I have Braxton-hicks contractions all the time this go 'round. Like, I'm having them now! It's crazy and pretty annoying but I can't control them.

So, there ya have it.

Next thursday, at 28 weeks, I take my gestational diabetes test so wish me luck!

Hope everyone is having a good week. I'll leave you with a few pics of my favorite 2 year old right now.
She definitely keeps me going trough all this! I may be exhausted 24/7 but wouldn't change any of it!

Cheers,
Lindley
