And, this little Ducky is ready to see her Aunt Mel, Uncle J, cousins Ian and London, Grammy and Pop, and Mamy and Slick! Yep, all these people will be here this weekend for Thanksgiving and we cannot wait!!! We are all going to the Tech/Baylor game at Jerry World on Saturday night while Mamy hangs back to love on her little butterball. Thanks for babysitting, Mamy!!
And, last but certainly not least: may we be forever indebted to our Lord & Saviour Jesus Christ for bringing us all together during this thankful time, that we have our health, have food on our table, new life to celebrate, laughter, and unconditional love. There are often times I wake up wishing for more hours or sleep or less dishes to clean or fewer loads of laundry to do or sick of dieting so I can fit back into my work clothes before I return on December 5th, or soooo over dirty diapers or mad that i have yet another bill that needs to be paid. But, aren't we glad we have all of these things to do because there are so many out there who long for things like this because they have no home, or children, are in poor health, are too thin because they wake up every day wondering where their next meal will come from. We just have no idea how blessed we truly are and need to thank Him every chance we can for what we have and take no day, chore, sleepless night, bill, and abundance of dishes to clean, for granted.
Cheers,
Lindley
