Amy and Fred went to Dallas last week and Amy received incredible news!!! She I doesn't see Dr. Maale again until July, and even then, she can see him in Lubbock!! He just started seeing patients here so that will be really nice. He wanted to know if she could lift her leg and when she did, he said that was pretty amazing! She will be fitted for a bendable brace in Amarillo on Monday and start some light physical therapy. It's a custom brace so will take a few weeks to get but will definitely be worth the weight. totally worth it! Soooo, yay for NO more trips to Dallas! She doesn't see Dr Lemmon (plastic surgeon) again and will see an infectious disease doc here in Lubbock with Dr. Maale. She also got her picc line out so no more IV antibiotics, Just oral. She's come a long way and will be waking without her walker in no time!!!
As for Casa de Herring, we are just settling in. Life is a big crazy right now but I know we will get into a routine and eventually sleep again ;). Haha!! On another random note: I'm able to get my wedding rings back on, yay!! B was worried I had pawned them off for matching girl clothes!!
Brian took Cam to see Sesame Street live last Tuesday and she had a blast!!
And a sweet little ender for you. This may be the only time they love each other for a while so better capture now and savor! ;)
