Palmer James Hughes has arrived!!!!!

Bridget had her baby yesterday at 1:26 and its a boy!!!!! They didn't find out the sex all pregnancy so it was sure a fun day for them. He weighed 7lbs 11oz & was 20inches long. Everyone is doing great!!!

Rainy days and Mondays and grandparents

God blessed us with over 4 inches of rain this past holiday Memorial Day weekend and we couldn't be more grateful! My plants too! We had a great long weekend seeing friends, family, and rain!!!

Someone got her first haircut!!

It didn't go so well starting out as she wouldn't let Nicole wash her hair but my lap, some fingernail polish, skittles, and a squirt bottle got the job done. She was such a good girl and got braids at the end!















Only cut about an inch off. I just couldn't go very short! Id rather go too little starting out and go back next week to cut more than go too much the first time 😁

4 years and 7 hours

Yesterday was our 4 year anniversary and sweet Abby Jones agreed to tackle our two munchkins for the night, bless her heart! ;). No, she actually said they were really good and that she had no issues which made us so happy. Maybe she'll come back! Haha!!!!

We had a great time! I really think just a few hours out of the house, sans kids, is so healthy and just good for the soul. We are blessed with phenomenal sitters here and couldn't be more grateful. We started the night off at my all-time favorite college bar, Crickets, for some pre-dinner cold ones from their 1,590ish draft beer selections, then headed to the Funky Door for an off-the-hook dinner! We have eaten there several times and never been disappointed. We are fairly certain it's one of, if not, the best restaurant in town. Delicious!!!!!!

As for the 7 hours, that's how long Tess went last night between feedings!! Best anniversary gift ever!! Abby put her down at 10:30 and she slept until 5:30!!

Girls only road trip to Grammy's

Last Tuesday afternoon I got Cam out of school early and she, Tess, and I headed to Plainview for a night with Grammy and Pop. Mom made us a home cooked meal and we just relaxed. This is my last week of maternity leave so I thought that might be fun to do with both girls. Miss Tess decided to sleep 6 hours straight for us and you should have seen mother and I's happy dance, after our heart attack, of course, since we didn't hear a peep out of her, at 4:45 in the morning. It was comical! Haha!!! I went to bed around 10 and mom did the last feeding, getting her into bed around 1045-11 and she didn't cry out until 4:45!!! Thank you, Tess!!!!! I was one happy mommy!!

Tess lately....

Ok--for the record, I know some of these posts may seem boring, or redundant, but I'm really only documenting these so I don't forget. I plan on having a couple more kids so this will come in handy. Bahahahahhaha!!! Not!!!

I seriously resort back to my blog every other day for something and it's sooo nice to have this all in one place. There is a search bar up at the top of my blog and if I wanna know what I did for New Years Eve back in 2010, my blog will tell me. My husband will tell you my memory sucks! ;). And it does!!! Ha!

Ok so back to my post: Miss Priss is knocking back 5 oz bottles every three hours (except at night, she usually goes 4 hour stretches), out of newborn diaper, AND clothes! Sniff sniff!!! :(. She is growing up waaaayyy too fast!!!! Here are some photos from yesterday and this morning. Mothers Day

I have always loved this day, even before I was a mom, just because I always got to celebrate the best mom ever, but now that I'm a mom myself, this day is even that much more special. I cannot even express how much I love these two!!!

Tess's sip n see

My sis, best friend Lindsay, and Brian's office manager and dear friend, Willie, threw Tess the most beautiful party last Friday night. I am not sure what I did to deserve such amazing friends and family but I'm just so thankful and only hope to do for them as they've done for me. Mandie and Kayla, my MIL, her friends, my mom, and a bunch of her friends all came from out of town and it was very humbling. Tess was an angel baby and Cam even got to stop by for a few minutes ☺️
